All Pending applications and Completed but not paid applications will be canceled on July 14
This summer, the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (HTSB) is transitioning to a new online licensing system. If you have a HTSB application with a “pending” status, all requirements must be met, documents received, and any fee paid by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017. Even if your application status is “completed,” it will still be cancelled if you have not paid your license or permit fee by this deadline. If you cannot meet all requirements by this date, you must submit another application once the new online system has launched.
Between the time the current system is disabled and the new system deployed, no applications or payments can be accepted, and no penalties will be applied due to the system being unavailable. HTSB staff will be working to monitor the transfer of your information to the new system, and ask that you wait until your school receives a memo informing you of the new website and system deployment before calling our office if possible.
We thank you for your patience and cooperation during this transition to a system that will meet your needs.
