Who are the HTSB Board Members?
The fifteen members of the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board represent stakeholder groups in education:
Six licensed teachers
Three administrators
State of Hawaii Board of Education member
State Superintendent of Schools
Dean of the UH College of Education or designee from member institutions of the Teacher Education Coordinating Committee
Two members of the public, nominated by the Hawaii Business Roundtable, Hawaii P-20, and Hawaii Workforce Development Council
Hawaii Association of Independent Schools (HAIS) representative
