Philosophy on teacher licensing:
I believe in teacher licensing. Teaching is the most important job in our community. We entrust teachers with the future and how well this future will sustain the quality of life for our community. Licensed teachers can do this, they make the future happen by bringing the best to the classroom -- the art and craft of teaching. Licensed teachers understand why and how to maximize teaching and learning for both the teacher and the student.

Goals as an HTSB Board member:
To ensure that we provide the framework and path for teachers to excel and continue serving our children and youth. Also to maintain and support the mission of HTSB.
