Philosophy on teacher licensing:
A teaching license is an indicator that teachers have met the basic requirements and standards of the profession.  Just as we expect professionals in other occupations to demonstrate they have met standards through licensing, we should expect no less of our teachers.

Goal as an HTSB Board member:
To help streamline the process of licensing and to ensure that teacher education programs and education professionals meet national level standards in the field.
