The Hawaii Teacher Standards Board is in the process of streamlining the License Renewal process to be more “user friendly” to teachers, and to allow them to verify that they meet Hawaii Teacher Performance Standards and have had successful teaching experience during the past five years.  Information will be available on our website as soon as the process is finalized. 

Teachers who hold a license expiring up to and including June 30, 2010 should submit an application for a license extension. 

Teachers who hold a license expiring July 1, 2010 or after should check back within the next month for detailed information on the renewal procedure.  HTSB thanks you for your patience as we work to streamline the process.
