Subsidy Available For Teachers Pursuing National Board Certification

The Hawaii Teacher Standards Board administers the NBPTS fee subsidy program when funding is available.  A $500 fee subsidy is available to first time candidates who have already paid the NBPTS $500 non-refundable initial fee and have received an active Candidate ID.  Over $50,000 in subsidies were awarded by HTSB in the 2010-2011 school year.
