Retake Subsidy Available For Teachers Pursuing National Board Certification
Teachers who are retaking entries for national certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards can apply for a subsidy to help pay for the application fee.
The subsidies are available on a competitive basis to those candidates who have not previously received a subsidy. Teachers receiving subsidies must attend National Board support sessions.
