Information about ETS Score Reports
ETS provides a Summary Score Report to each designated institution. Test takers who indicate State/Agency Code 8620 at the time of registration will have their report automatically reported to HTSB. If a test taker does not indicate the HTSB code at the time of registration, he/she will have to submit an official score report or a notarized copy as documentation of scores. For this reason, test takers are strongly urged to list HTSB as a score recipient.
The score report highlights six key areas including comparative data, demographic information and detailed score distributions. A score report contains:
- Candidate's name
- Score(s)
- Pass/no pass score information for recipients such as HTSB that the candidate designates at registration
- Background information
- Educational information
- Detailed content category performance for the most recent test taken
- ETS Recognition of Excellence, if the test taker earns a qualifying score
Official candidate score reports will be sent to the candidate and up to 3 institutions/agencies that are selected at the time of registration. Test takers who registered online for a paper-based test will not receive a paper score report in the mail. They will access their test scores online through their Praxis account.
- Computer-based test scores are mailed 2-3 weeks after the test date.
- Paper-based test scores are available approximately 4 weeks after the test date.
- Official score reports are mailed to all designated score recipients.
- Additional score reports may also be ordered for a fee charged by ETS.
More information about tests and score reports may be found on the ETS website.
